Partners and Sponsors
We're honoured to be backed by some of South Africa's leading brands. Thank you to every sponsor who has granted quality teaching resources to students who are eager to excel.
By providing us with the necessary seed funding in the second half of 2014, the Millenium Trust enabled us to create the very first Paper Video resources for Grade 12 Mathematics.
Launched at the end of September 2014, these resources were used by just over 2 000 Matriculants preparing to write the end-of-year exams for Mathematics in November 2014.
These acted as a proof of concept and the overwhelmingly positive feedback we received from our first users after the 2014 NSC Exams prompted the expansion of the Paper Video offering.
We are proud and grateful to be partnered with the Actuarial Society of South Africa (ASSA) in our mission to improve the quality of education offered in our country.
It is through this founding partnership and their establishment of the Actuarial Society Education Trust (ASET) that we are able to utilise contributions from corporate entities and active citizens to sponsor our resources for the students, teachers and schools in the greatest need.
Thanks to the generous donation from Students for a Better Future founders, Dr. and Mrs. Strüngmann, we were able to develop our unique video-embedded resources for Grade 8 & 9 Mathematics, Natural Sciences and the Accounting component of EMS.
Thanks to the sponsorship provided by South African Breweries and their You Decide Campaign from 2015 to 2017, we have been able to roll out our Mathematics and Physical Science resources to over 5 000 Matric students across 70 schools in the Cape Metropole.
Thanks to the contributions from Momentum & Metropolitan made possible through the MMI Foundation, we rolled out our resources and offline delivery mechanisms to over 3 000 senior students in the first half of 2016. This included grade 10, 11 and 12 in five schools across four provinces.
Thanks to the generous donations by PRIMA Actuaries & Consultants, under the leadership of Mr Kobus Pretorius, we have rolled out our resources to Hartbeespoort HS (in 2018) and a well-established NGO contributing to the upliftment of education in the Eastern Cape (in 2019).
Thanks to the generosity of Old Mutual, the collaboration between LEAP Schools and Edunova have been able to incorporate our resources into their inspiring educational programme for Grade 11 and 12 students across the country.
Thanks to the ongoing sponsorship provided by Swiss Re, not only were we able to roll-out our resources to Zonnebloem Secondary School in 2016, but we were able to develop our Gr 10 Mathematics Subject Map and make it FREELY available to all learners across South Africa!
We are proud and grateful to have been supported by the late, great Theodore Yach: father, businessman, philanthropist and South Africa's most accomplished cold-water endurance swimmer. Theodore Yach generously sponsored our Physical Science resources to over 2 300 Matric students across 55 schools in the Cape Flats and surrounds in 2015. His legacy remains an inspiration to us all.
Thanks to the sponsorship provided by Investec South Africa in 2015 and 2016, we have been able to roll out our Mathematics and Physical Science resources to over 2 200 Matric students in the Kutlwanong Promaths Centres across the country.
Thanks to the ongoing sponsorship and support provided by the South African arm of the Reinsurance Group of America from 2015, we were able to provide our resources to the Matric students of the LEAP Science & Maths Schools (in Pinelands and Langa), the Gr 8 & 9 learners of Khulani Secondary (in Langa), and the Thuto Foundation (an NGO based in Limpopo).
Thanks to the sponsorship provided by Nampak in 2015, we were able to provide our Mathematics and Physical Science resources (including our exam books and DVD packs) to the Matric students of Luhlaza Secondary in Khayelitsha.
